Who we are

Tsuzuku Manga is run by Bryan Orozco, an individual based in California, United States. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, username, display name, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. We never see or store your actual password.
• Profile details you choose to add: such as an avatar, bio, or links.
• Reading activity: the manga in your library and lists, your reading progress, and reading history used for features like Wrapped.
• Things you post: comments, votes, reports, and, if uploads are on, chapters you upload.
• Blocks and settings: people you block and your site settings.
• Chapter alerts: if you turn on push notifications, the push address your browser gives us, so we can send new chapter alerts.
• Connected services: if you link AniList or import from MyAnimeList, we store what is needed to sync your list. AniList access tokens are encrypted.
• Payments: if you subscribe, Stripe handles your card. We only receive your subscription status, never your card number.
• Technical logs: request logs with your IP address and browser type, kept for security and debugging.

How we use it

To run your account, remember where you stopped reading, send the emails and alerts you asked for, show your posts, protect the site from abuse and spam, and fix errors. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles for anyone else.

Services we rely on

These companies process data on our behalf to run the site:

• Render hosts the site and its cache.
• MongoDB Atlas stores the database.
• Cloudflare provides DNS, network protection, and the Turnstile bot check on sign up and sign in.
• Resend sends account emails such as confirmations and password resets.
• Sentry receives error reports so we can fix bugs, if error tracking is turned on.
• Stripe handles payments, if Premium is offered.

Manga data and pages come from MangaDex, related anime from AniList, and songs from AnimeThemes and Spotify. Our server contacts these services for you; your browser does not send them your account details. Push alerts travel through your browser maker's push service.

Browser storage

We keep your sign in token and reader settings in your browser's local storage. Files you open with "Open your own files" stay on your device and are never uploaded. We do not use advertising cookies. If ads are ever turned on, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data until you delete your account. Request logs are kept for a limited time for security, and database backups roll off on a schedule, so deleted data leaves our backups after that period.

Your choices and rights

• Download a copy of your data from your profile page.
• Delete your account from your profile page. This removes your library, history, votes, and connections. Your comments stay but show "deleted user".
• Turn chapter alerts off at any time in Settings or in your browser.
• California residents have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using them. We do not sell or share personal information. Email us to use these rights.

Security

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to the database is limited to the site's servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.

Age

Tsuzuku Manga is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will post a notice on the site for important changes.
